1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, and username when you register. If you connect a fantasy platform (such as Sleeper), we receive your league and roster data from that platform via their public API. We do not collect or store your platform login credentials.

We also collect usage data automatically: pages visited, features used, and session timing. This data is used to improve the product and is not sold to third parties.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to operate and improve Fantasy Football Codex — specifically to provide Decision Board recommendations, sync roster data, send transactional emails (account verification, password reset), and communicate product updates. We do not use your data for advertising and do not sell it to data brokers or third parties.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Neon (PostgreSQL) infrastructure hosted in the United States. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Account passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plaintext.

4. Email Communications

By registering, you consent to receiving transactional emails: account verification, password reset, and material product updates. You may opt out of non-transactional communications at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email.

5. Third-Party Services

We use third-party service providers for database hosting, application infrastructure, email delivery, and data enrichment (including market odds and weather data). These providers process data only as necessary to operate the Service and are contractually prohibited from using it for other purposes.

6. Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser, but some features will not function correctly without them.

7. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing contact-us@fantasyfootballcodex.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

Fantasy Football Codex is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
